The attorney representing Britney Spears says that they won’t pursue extending the restraining order against Sam Lutfi. The reason behind that is, they’re saying that Britney doesn’t want anything to do with him anymore. I mean, why not have a controlling user around? Right?
Her mouthpiece, Samuel Ingham III, says, “Britney has made clear to everyone,” Ingham said, “that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama ‘Sam’ Lutfi, now or at anytime in the future.”
According to TMZ, it’s just been announced that Britney Spears’ conservatorship will not be ending tomorrow, as previously thought.
Lawyers will go into the court for the conservators tomorrow to announce their intentions. TMZ sez, their intentions are to ask the court to extend the conservatorship until the fall.
…Then wave to your little friends like Britney here and shut your piehole.
Jamie Spears and the conservatorship of 2008 ends on Thursday, July 31st. It hasn’t been said yet as to whether or not he’ll go back to court and tell them that she’s still a nutjob, but we’ll see. My magic eight ball says that that’s not likely.
So, soon Britney Spears might actually be in charge again of her own finances. She has learned to keep a really low profile and hasn’t even frequented Starbucks quite as often.

Maybe Britney Spears wants to reprise her role of Slowtard trainwreck on MTV’s Video Music Awards or something, because the gossip is that she’s making a comeback.
We’ll see if it’s a good one, though.
Last year’s VMA’s not only miffed Kanye West, but all of us watching from home, too. We were expecting a real comeback. All we got was a sedated performance.

When I first read that Jim Carey was at the event, I was hoping with some small part inside of me that he’s be sporting his Ace Ventura hairdo and come out of the place soaking wet.
