Dancing With The Stars Live Recap: Elimination Results 5/15/12

“Dancing With The Stars” makes its return tonight with an all new episode at 9PM EST on ABC. Last night, the top four competitors and their professional dance partners took on two separate dances. Only three can go through to the finals, so it’s anyone’s guess who’s going to make the cut. In case you’ve missed the performance episode, you can read our full recap here.

William Levy and Cheryl Burke did a Tango, for which they received 29 points. Later, they did a Samba which garnered a perfect score from the judges. Second on the ballroom floor for both rounds were Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas doing a Quickstep. They received a score of 29 points for their first dance, which was followed by their Salsa, for which they scored 27 points. Up third on the ballroom floor were Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd doing their Waltz, for which they scored a total of 28 points. Secondly, they performed a Samba, for which they received 29 points. Taking the ballroom floor last for both rounds were Maria Menounos and Derek Hough doing their Argentine Tango. For their first dance, they received a total of 30 points. Secondly, they performed a Jive, for which they received 29 points.

Len has said that the judges want to see William and Cheryl’s Samba again. Nice. We’re not complaining!
Hot, hot, hot!

Katherine and Mark are in the hot seat first after last night’s slip up. They are safe! After Alannis Morrisette performed, Maria and Derek are learning their fate. They are in jeopardy!

After Carrie Underwood’s performance, we will learn William and Cheryl’s fate, as well as Donald and Peta’s. William and Cheryl are in the Finals, leaving Donald and Peta in jeopardy!
