It’s Sunday night and it’s back to work tomorrow so make it magically! This evening we are introduced to the John Doe in Storybrooke’s hospital that just so happens to be Prince Charming in Fairytale World.
ABC’s Synopsis:
Emma talks Mary Margaret into reading to an unidentified coma patient in the hospital; Prince Charming and Snow White meet for the first time.

This evening we start in Fairytale World with a coach and two white horses carrying royalty, Prince Charming, played by Josh Dallas, and another princess, not Snow White. They come to a stop in the road due to a fallen tree. As the men attempt to move the tree they are ambushed. by a lone rider. Prince Charming follows the rider on horseback and when he catches her he meets Snow White for the first time. He is so stunned by the fact that she is a girl. Snow White, played by Ginnifer Goodwin!
Back in Storybrooke Mary Margaret is on a date with a gentlemen at the local diner. It’s not going so well so Mary Margaret ends the date early to walk home. She runs into Emma camped out in her car. Emma tells her that no one will rent to her in order to stay so she will live in her car for now. Mary tells her about her date. Emma feels bad for her. Mary Margaret offers Emma a room and Emma declines thankfully stating that she is not good with roommate’s.
In Storybrooke hospital Mary Margaret, played by Ginnifer Goodwin, finds Henry, played by Jared Gilmore, watching the John Doe, also played by Josh Dallas. Mary Explains to him that they don’t who he is or why he is there. Henry asks her “are you sure you don’t know him”?
Back at Henry’s castle Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison, and Henry are dicussing the John Doe. Henry tells Emma that he is “Prince Charming”. He tells her that Mary Margaret must read the story to John Doe to get him to remember. So Emma tells Mary Margaret to read to him this way they can make Henry understand that not all things are like in Fairytale World in order to get Mary Margaret to do it.
That night Mary Margaret begins to read the story to John Doe at the hospital. All of a sudden John Doe grabs her arm while she is reading the part that they will always find each other no matter what. Mary runs for the doctor to tell him that he grabed her hand. The doctor states that nothing could have happened because the machines don’t show anything. He tells her to go home and get some rest. The doctor calls the Mayor to tell her that the John Doe has a slight change in condition. She asks what happened and he explains and tells her that it was Mary Margaret that noticed the change. Regina is upset for some reason.
Back in Fairytale land Snow White is running thru the woods and Prince Charming has set up a trap for her. She hoisted up into a net. He tells her that he new he would catch her at some point. He asks for his jewels back. He tells he needs it back because the ring that was inthe jewels that she stole. The ring is his mothers and he wanted to use it to propose to his girlfriend. She refuses and he threatens her with turning her into the law.He know who she is and shows her the wated poster he found. She is wanted woman. She agrees to help him find the ring she stole and sold in exchange for him not turning her in to the law.

In the diner in Storybrooke Mary Margaret, Emma and Henry are meeting. Mary Margaret comes in and tells them that reading the story he reacted to it. They run to the hospital to read to him again and find the sheriff and Regina there. The sheriff reports that John Doe is missing. Regina is standing in the room with the empty bed.
Regina scolds Henry for telling fibs about his where abouts. Regina threatens that she will keep Henry away from her since he won’t stay away from her.
The sheriff and Mary Margaret and Emma are watching the surveillance tapes and see that he managed to walk out of the hospital on his own! Out into the woods.
Prince Charming and Snow White are walking thru the woods on their way to find his ring and talking. She tells him that the queen wants her dead and that the charges against her are false. She tells him the only reason she stole from him was because she thought the carriage was one of the Queen’s. The Queen hates her and wants her heart. They continue walking and come to a river. Snow and Charming take a drink of water. She pushes Charming into the rough part of the river and he is taken by the current. She goes to run and runs right into the Queen’s men. They are want her heart because the Queen feels that Snow is responsible for ruining her life.
The Sheriff, Emma and Mary Margaret head out to the woods to search for John Doe. No luck yet finding him. They hear a noise and out comes Henry. He tells them he knows how to find John Doe. He is looking for Snow White or one in the same Mary Margaret.
Back in Fairtale World woods Snow is being beaten by the Queen’s men when Charming comes to her rescue and saves her from them. She takes off with one the queen’s horses and meets Charming down the road. She is surprised that he saved her. She tells him that she sold the ring to trolls. They must be careful and continue on.
In the woods in Storybrooke Mary Margaret, Emma and Henry and the Sheriff are still searching for John Doe. The Sheriff finds his hospital bracelet with blood on it in the woods.
Snow and Charming are entering the trolls area. They have to walk the rest of the way because the trolls do not like horses. She tells Charming to stay quiet. The trolls climb up the side of the wall of the bridge. She tells him that they want to buy back the jewels she sold them. They are concerned about Charming and who he is. They think it’s an ambush and seize them both. They find Snow White’s Wanted poster in Charming’s bag as they search it. Charming fights them to keep them from turning in Snow White for the reward. She gets away and notices that they still have Charming. She stops and runs back and thows her fairy dust powder at them and they turn into beetles. Charming is shocked that she saved him. He thanks her. She says “well I couldn’t let anything happen to Prince Charming”. She helps him put his things back in the bag and he tells her he has a name. “My name is James”. They decide to leave the troll woods.
Mary Margaret finds John Doe laying in the river. They all run to him and pull him out of the river and begin mouth to mouth resuscitation. He coughs up water and starts breathing. He looks up at Mary Margaret and says, “you saved me, thank you!” She asks him who are you? He says “I don’t know”. They rush him back to the hospital. A woman rushes into the room calling him David. It’s his wife, Mrs. Nolan.
Charming and Snow are walking thru the woods and she give him back his jewels. She tries on the ring for a laugh and says ” not me at all”. They decide to part ways. He says if I ever need you I will find you. They say good bye and head their separate ways. She watches him go back to the castle for a moment.
Back at the hospital Regina explains that his name is David! HIs wife comes out and tells Mary Margaret the story of how they separated. She is happy for a second chance. Regina is glad that he is well and going back to his wife. The doctor comes out and says he is on the mend. Regina makes Henry go home with her. he tells Mary that she needs to know that David and her belong together no matter what. Emma chases Regina down the hall. She tells her that Mrs. Nolan is a fake. Why was there no missing person report. Why has this woman not looked for him. Also why did Regina know how to contact her now? Why not years ago? She tells Emma that she is in a forgiving mood and won’t do anything to Emma. Mary Margaret watches David and his wife hug from outside of the room. He stares at her searching for something in her eyes.
Mary Margaret is sitting in her apartment when she hears a knock at the door. It’s Emma. She wants to know if the spare room is availble. Mary Let’s her in.
