As my mom said to me, “money comes and money goes, but the only thing no one can ever take away from you is your education.” The fact of the matter is that she’s on a hit show now, but who knows what will be in 10 years. Hell, even in 5! Maybe she’ll still be famous, but if not, she would always have her college degree to fall back on. Hubris. She should get it. Even if she doesn’t do the whole campus thing, she should get her degree.

Go for it MBP!! I think college was more interesting to me after I had a little life experience. I only went for two semester after high school and was still in the “school sucks” frame of mind. When I went back at age 24 I totally rocked a 4.0 GPA, which was a total turnaround for me!

Go for it Roberta! Here’s something to really inspire you: at the age of 62 my grandmother when to college to become a paralegal. She was approaching retirement age and the state office where she had worked for so many years was moving from Manhattan to Albany, so she wanted to do something else. She worked for a law practice until she was diagnosed with ALS a few years later. She was pretty freakin’ awesome!
