I know this isn’t celebrity related news, but I wanted to share this craziness with you.
This woman, Bonnie Sweeten, used a co-worker’s stolen drivers license and purchased tickets to DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida.
She then claimed that she and her nine-year old daughter were abducted and stuffed in the trunk of a car.
She has been charged with false reports and identity theft at it was found that she lied about the abduction. Prior to the kidnapping hoax, she had withdrawn about $12,000 from banks.
I hope they throw the book at her for putting her child in harm’s way like that. I can’t believe that she would try to fake something like that. It’s bad enough that things like kidnapping happen as much as they do, but to fake it, it’s just terrible.
Police are said to be releasing Sweeten’s daughter to her father.
