If you’ll recall, Matt Dillon was busted for driving 106 mph in Vermont, last December.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges of careless and negligent operation, for driving more than 30 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Yesterday, his lawyer, Mark Kaplan, showed up at court on his behalf. Dillon was then offered a plea deal, which usually involves pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
No word has been released as to whether or not he’s accepted the deal or not.
If he’s convicted of the charges, he could face up to a year in prison as well as a fine of $1,000.
Take the deal, Matt! Why risk having your butt tossed in jail for a year?
