Breaking news, Carrie Bradshaw is not going to be a mother in the Sex & the City sequel!

Did anyone out there think that the movie may be going that direction? 

In the series, when Carrie was dating Aleksandr Petrovsky, she hinted at wanting a baby, but he said that wasn’t an option and she knew that going to Paris with him.

Now that Big and Carrie are married, it didn’t even occur to me that they would get her knocked up.  I’d rather see them do that to Samantha before they do it to Carrie.

Sarah Jessica Parker says, “It doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be a choice she’ll make. I don’t know. Michael and I never talk about it. That doesn’t mean that won’t be part of the story. We just haven’t figured it out,” Parker said. “It feels a little bit manipulative to toss that into the mix, because she seems so pointed in a different direction.”

I don’t forsee them doing that to her.  Do you?
